Opera and Cabbage

After a hot summer of simple sandwich suppers and home made coleslaw I have been simmering beans and dreaming of baking biscotti.

I've always thought my love of cabbage and opera music proves that I must've been adopted but when I saw my mother's angry toes I knew that we shared the same genetics.
