Make it Yourself

Since I am allergic to most wine and some beer. I make my own very low-alcohol bubbly cider. Yesterday I made bubbly wine from grape juice and a tiny bit of Fleishmann's baking yeast. I do this but without any additional sugar. I use grape juice and yeast in a plastic seltzer bottle a warm place. Our house is cold but we have a warm spot in our boiler room. Be sure to let the air out every few hours.

We use apple cider, grape juice or apple juice or a blend. It takes only one day. We re-culture the next batch from the yeasty sediment in the bottle. Refrigerate once the fizz happens.
