I Never Thought I'd see this Day

I came home from my swim and had two mugs of hot of tea with milk and honey and old fashioned popcorn sitting at my picnic table as the sun was setting. Stacy's kids next door are having a ball riding skateboards and scooters now that the parking lot belongs to them and not drug dealers and shady chop-shop guys. In 20 years of living here I never thought I'd see this day. Hurray! Now we can start planning the home made ice cream and basketball party.
