Family Vacations

Family vacations scared me to death. My mother's idea of a vacation was to drug us with Dramamine so she could spend a honeymoon with her husband, uninterrupted. To this day vacation is the bad word that has me scurrying to hide the way my dogs and cat respond to firecrackers.
